HCB Horizontal Carousel Controller HCB is a Horizontal Carousel Controller capable of supporting up-to four Horizontal Carousels. The controller manages the carousel rotation using modern Variable Frequency Drives and a state-of-the-art programmable safety controller.
Numerous options are available including a wireless maintenance interface, a push-button HMI OP3 and an Ethernet interface to our PartPic Inventory Management software and other peripherals.
The control supports (4) carousels and interfaces easily to our PartPic Inventory Management system The control works with peripherals such as our wifi based Pick Light Tower to provide accurate picking information for the operator.
The HCB enclosure is 24x30x8in and contains all the control elements for support of four carousels in a single wall-mounted enclosure. System shown with options The control panel includes complete machine control and safety functions in a single enclosure providing easy service and maintenance access.
The Wireless Maintenance keyboard option allows technical staff to control the carousels from a hand-held transmitter. During this service activity the primary control functions are placed on stand-by. A less expensive “Service Control” button-pad option allows similar functionality without the wireless transmitter.
The HCB interfaces with our Position Light Tower showing the shelf location and transaction quantity. A grid showing the tote’s exact location is also displayed to provide clear information for the operator.
